YouthLine provides nationwide youth peer to peer support, help, and crisis intervention via phone, text, and chat daily from 1pm-6pm HST for youth ages 10-24. They have a hub of volunteers taking calls on Maui. This is a free service, confidential, safe, and judgment free. YouthLine teen volunteers and young adult interns are knowledgeable, experienced, and relevant, and they relate to their peer group on the same level. Reach out to the YouthLine for a variety of challenges, ranging from a bad test grade or peer pressure to tougher topics like grief, depression, bullying, pregnancy, self-harm, questioning sexual orientation, exploring gender identity, substance use, and suicide.
