Provides a safe, accepting environment for psychiatric rehabilitation in which individuals with mental illness are offered empowering opportunities to reach their full and considerable potential and achieve their individual aspirations. They offer program to help folks return to work and gain necessary social skills.

A clinician-led psychotherapy group for those navigating the loss of a loved one- offerin gspace to process grief, build coping skills, and find connection in community. Led by Nicole Walsh, MSW, whose personal experience with grief brings depth, purpose, and compassion to her work. Held at 808 Workplace, Lihue on TUesdays starting June 30th, 2026 from 5:30pm-7pm. Dinner will be served.

Support groups for Kauai Community College (KCC) students, faculty, and staff.

Free telehealth therapy at no cost for students within the Hawaii department of Education.

For patients who are receiving gastrointestinal cancer treatment (e.g. esophagus, stomach, intestines, pancreas, gallbladder, liver and rectum) and for gastrointestinal cancer survivors. Spouses and significant others of patients are also welcome.

For patients who are currently in treatment for gynecologic cancer – ovarian, uterine, vaginal, vulvar, cervical – and gynecologic cancer survivors. Held the 3rd Thursday of each even-numbered month.

Provides education programs, youth development, diversion programs, and treatment programs. Hale Opio provides education in substance abuse prevention, sexual health, healthy relationships, and effective communication. They also have cultural learning experiences and provide outreach to homeless or runaway youth ages 12-21. First Jobs Academy offered to ages 16-21 (teaches life skills and work readiness). Higher education, independent living resources, & case management offered for foster youth ages 12-26 or those aged out of foster care. Also provides classes for juveniles in teen court.

Substance abuse counseling for adolescents

For patients who are receiving genitourinary cancer treatment (e.g. prostate cancer, bladder cancer, kidney/renal cancer, testicular cancer or penile cancer) and for genitourinary cancer survivors. Significant others also welcome. Meetings are held virtually the first Tuesday of each month over Zoom from 2-3 p.m

Affordable housing for low-income families and individuals

Ho`ala provides families with information on the importance of early learning for keiki development and growth, through intensive outreach strategies, and helps families navigate systems to secure early learning opportunities for their keiki.
