Kauai Ocean Recreation Experience, or KORE, is designed to help both Kauai residents and their families who are physically challenged and/or have special needs, to get back into the ocean with the assistance of trained professionals. Email: kauaikore@hotmail.com

Provides a supervised daytime program for adults with impairments and Kūpuna in a supportive and protective environment. Our goal is to help disabled adults remain at home and in their community while maintaining or improving their functional level. Our objectives are to keep our elderly or impaired adults as independent as possible, allowing them to do as much for themselves as possible and choose the activities that appeal to them.
Physical exercises, creative crafts and therapeutic recreational activities are regularly scheduled. Special events include weekly shopping trips, picnics, excursions, entertainment, holiday and birthday parties.
In addition to recreational and social activities we provide nutritious snacks and meals and rest periods. Transportation is coordinated with the County of Kauaʻi, Agency on Elderly Affairs on a space available basis.

Brain Injury Group that meets monthly & also has a monthly activity for participants to do something together in the community. Currently, the meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month from 12:30pm-2:30pm at Hale Lihue

Mental health services for adults with severe mental health concerns. They provide medication management, case management, and psychosocial rehab. No insurance needed.
