Bereavement care is the foundation of our programs and is offered through one-on-one support, family support or through community referrals. Community outreach and eduction is an important component of our services. We strive to educate the community on death, the powers of grief and the healing process.
Life’s Bridges understands the impact that a suicide death has on our community.
We have taken on an active role in suicide prevention by offering workshops and speaking engagements in an effort to create a suicide free community.

Lists the food panties & meal programs around the island

Free, in-person peer support groups. These groups offer respect, understanding, encouragement, and hope for people living with mental illness. Free and confidential. Held every Tuesday in Lihue. Also offering family-to-family support groups held virtually & in-person (Kapaa & Hanapepe). In NAMI Family Support Groups, families join a caring group of individuals helping one another by utilizing their collective lived experiences and learned wisdom. Family members can achieve a renewed sense of hope for their loved one living with mental health challenges.

For those struggling with any drug addiction- for men and women

Offers effective substance abuse prevention strategies, education, and programs that are school and community based.

Health care services- women's wellness, testing/treatment, case management, HIV/AIDS, tobacco cessation, transgender services, community education programs (relationships, health), STD testing, outreach for high-risk populations.

NAMI Signature Family-to-Family Support Group meets every FOURTH Wednesday of the month in Lihue from 7:00-8:30pm. This is also an evidence based activity offered free of charge. Please contact Kathy for more information.

Kupuna program- meal kits

Orphan and destitute children with preference given to Native Hawaiians - youth development, casework, counseling, ohana strengthening, grief loss/ trauma support, aina education program, & more. For young children up to age 26, parents/ guardians/ caregivers.

Punawai rest stop (hygiene center), intensive outpatient services, residential services, case management, homelessness, peer coach

Virtual Intensive Outpatient OCD & Anxiety Treatment for Hawaii Residents. 5 days per week, 2 hours per day. For adolescents (12+) & adults. For OCD, Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Tics, Tourette's, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Hair Pulling, Skin Picking.
